Plating solution foaming requires the use of plating solution defoamers
Electroplating is the process of coating a thin layer of other metals or alloys on certain metal surfaces. Through the electroplating process, products with different metal glosses can be obtained, which are more popular in the market. Therefore, the electroplating process is very important. When it comes to electroplating, it is naturally associated with electroplating solution, which refers to a liquid that can expand the cathode current density range of metals, improve the appearance of coatings, and increase the stability of solution oxidation resistance. However, in the actual process application, the electroplating process will also produce foam, which requires the use of electroplating defoamer.
The reason for foam is that in the actual production and application of electroplating, the electroplating solution will produce a lot of foam due to excessive organic matter in the bath, high concentration of pickling solution, excessive impurities, and oxide film on the surface before entering the plating bath.
Adverse consequences of too many foam:
1. Resulting in increased costs;
2. Excessive loss of cleaning agent;
3. Affects the quality of electroplating;
4. Affecting the normal operation of the machine;
Foam solution: through systematic research and field test, antifoaming agent for electroplating solution is refined from specially modified organic polymer, which belongs to high stability product, has excellent defoaming and foam suppression functions, will not cause demulsification, oil slick, floating oil, precipitation and other phenomena, and has no obvious impact on subsequent production and processing.
