The Application of Metal Ink Defoamer in Metal Screen Printing Ink
Metal ink, like other inks, is composed of pigments, solvents, adhesives, and various additives (such as those added during production and processing). Metal inks generally need to be blended to achieve their best results, while newly blended metal inks generally have many bubbles, which cannot be directly applied and can cause various defects in the product.
In order to improve the production efficiency of screen printing, reduce the unnecessary trouble caused by bubbles, and solve the problems of rapid ink drying causing a decrease in the quality of printed images and texts, it is best to add an additional amount of screen printing ink defoamer. Here, I suggest choosing modified polyether type screen printing oil ink defoamers, as this metal ink defoamer has good water solubility compatibility, leveling, and will not affect product transparency It has the advantages of fast defoaming, outstanding foam suppression performance, no pinholes, and no impact on the adhesion of metal screen printing ink.
Metal ink defoamers can be used for: high viscosity ink, electronic solder resist ink, screen printing UV ink, brush type wood paint, PU paint, plastic/floor paint, polyurethane paint, nitrocellulose paint, wood paint, topcoat, metal paint, automotive paint, architectural paint, polishing oil, etc.
The use method of metal ink defoamer: directly use without dilution, and it needs to be stirred evenly before use. It is recommended to add in batches. During the dispersion process, add 1/3 to 2/3 of the amount first, and then add the remaining amount later.
