SHORT DESCRIPTION:

9279 is a high molecular block copolymer solution containing multiple pigment affinity groups, which is an excellent wetting dispersant.

FEATURES:

9279 deflocculates pigments through steric hindrance. They provide the same charge to different pigments, thus avoid possible co-flocculation of pigments with different charges. This dispersant not only has good wettability and low bubble, but also has excellent anti-settling, anti-flocculation and anti-floating ability. In addition to its excellent dispersion effect and viscosity reduction effect, the prepared color paste also has slight thixotropy. It has excellent anti-settling and anti-water separation effect without adding thickener. It also has a good help to the anti-shrinkage hole of the paint film. As a special dispersant for water-based coatings, it has very strong versatility with a good dispersion effect on inorganic pigments, organic pigments, carbon black, titanium dioxide and iron oxide. It is suitable for water-based resin-free colorants and also suitable for grinding containing resins, which will not affect the water resistance of the paint film.

APPLICATIONS

9279 is suitable for waterborne pigment concentrate, architectural coatings, industrial coatings, automotive coatings, wood and furniture coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, printing inks, adhesives, etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS: 

For best performance, the additive should be added slowly (with mixing) to the grinding resin/cosolvent or emulsion resin mixture. When used for non-resinous pigment concentrate, the additive should be evenly mixed with water before adding the pigment.

The pigment must be fully dispersed before being added. Inorganic pigments (10%-20%); Titanium dioxide (5%-10%); Organic pigments (20%-60%BET value); Carbon black (40%-100%); Non-resinous pigment pulp concentrate: calculate the amount according to the effect.

SHELF LIFE:

Store in a dry and ventilated place. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture. At low temperatures, crystallization may precipitate, resulting in turbidity or stratification, but it does not affect the using effect. The product is stable at low temperatures, and storage temperatures above 5℃ are recommended.
