SHORT DESCRIPTION:

2648 is a specially modified polyether siloxane, it is used for water-based coatings. It is one hydrolysis-resistant silicone wetting agent.

FEATURES:

2648 can greatly reduce the surface tension of the system. Its surface tension (0.1%) is lower than 22.0 mN/m, so, it can provide strong wetting ability. This product has good compatibility. It is a silicone surfactant for water-based systems. It has excellent substrate wetting and leveling. It has good hydrolysis resistance and has long-time stability in coating systems with pH 4-9.

APPLICATIONS:

2648 can be used in water-based wood paints, water-based industrial paints, decorative paints, architectural paints, inkjet paints, printing inks and varnishes, etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS: 

2648 can be added at any stage of production, either pre-diluted or in supply form directly into the paint system. Recommend dosage：0.1%~1%.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

SHELF LIFE:

Store in a dry and ventilated place. Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
