SHORT DESCRIPTION:

1812 is mainly composed of specially modified polysiloxane (100% content modified silicone oil with primary hydroxyl group), which is a silicone wetting, leveling and slipping agent with excellent performance.

FEATURES:

1812 has excellent anti-adhesion and anti peeling effect. It can greatly reduce the surface tension and improve the wettability of the release paper and the substrate. It can increase the leveling ability of the resin as well as the anti-shrinkage and anti-pinhole performance. It also can enhance the softness and provide a smooth surface and smooth hand feel for PU synthetic leather. Meanwhile, It can improve breathability, moisture-penetrability, wear resistance and low temperature warping strength resistance. Compared with other silicone modifiers, it has better compatibility with PU resin and polar solvents such as DMF. It is more suitable for using in polyester systems. It can react with polyurethane prepolymers and can be used as modifying agent for polyurethane resins, improve smoothness and anti-adhesion properties of the resin.

APPLICATIONS:

1812 can be used in oily systems, radiation curing systems, etc. It is suitable for leather, various industrial coatings and industrial paints, etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

1812 can be added in the form of original product or pre-diluted. It can also be used as a reactive additive, added in the early stage of PU resin production, then react with isocyanate, which has a long lasting modification effect for the properties of PU leather. It can also be added in the later stage of PU resin production, which can also achieve better results. Recommend dosage: 0.1~0.5%.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
