2478 reduces the surface tension most strongly among wetting agents of similar structure. The surface tension can reach 16.4, thereby providing strong wetting ability and improving the wetting ability of the base material. It can also improve the wetting, flowing and leveling as well as help wetting and grinding pigments. Adding it when grinding pigments can improve the wettability of pigments, shorten grinding time and improve grinding effect. It does not increase surface slippery and is sensitive to pH value. It is recommended to be used in coating systems with a pH of 6~8. It provides excellent pore penetration when used in water-based wood paints.

2888 is mainly composed of a specially modified polyethersiloxane copolymer.

2888 is a silicone wetting agent with excellent performance.Its surface tension is 21.5mN/m,which can improve the properties of substrates which are difficult to coat with water-based coatingsm, increase wettability,improve spreadability and prevent shrinkage.It can improve the wettability of soluble flexographic printing inks and gravure printing inks on highly smooth packaging materials such as polyethylene,polypropylene and polyethylene paraxylate.This product can reduce the amount of organic solvent used to improve wettability and improve printing physical properties.

2888 is especially suitable for water-based polyurethane systems and can be used in:water-based coatings,printing inks,gravure printing inks,high-smooth packaging material inks,etc.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
2888 can be added directly to the coating system in pre-diluted or supplied form.
Recommended dosage:0.05~0.5%
