SHORT DESCRIPTION:

5213 is a non-ionic, solvent-free, hydrophobic, modified polyurethane thickening and leveling agent.

FEATURES:

5213 can endow water-based coatings with excellent flow and leveling properties as well as gloss development and medium shear viscosity. This product does not contain tin compounds and toluene and it is a non-toxic, odorless and environment friendly rheology modification additive. It is especially suitable for water-based systems that has high request for rheology, leveling and thickening together. It has a good brushing feel and excellent anti roller splash. It also has water resistance, alkali resistance, scrub resistance, stain resistance and water outflow resistance. Meanwhile, it has good flow, rheology and hiding effect, uniform film thickness and film fullness, and it does not affect the gloss characteristics of the film. It is not affected by PH value, and can be used in a wide range of PH values, and, it can be added easily at any stage of paint production, without any dilution before use, without the need to neutralize with alkali, and the flow level and thickening properties can be achieved in an instant.

APPLICATIONS

5213 is suitable for water-based plastic, metal, glass, wood, rubber, latex paint. It is also used in water-based industrial paint, water-based ink, water-based adhesives and petrochemical water treatment systems, etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

The dosage is 0.05%-1.0% of the total amount of the formula.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. The specific amount of addition depends on the composition of the system and the leveling performance required. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

125KG plastic pail or IBC.

SHELF LIFE:

Store in a cool and ventilated place. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
