The safety and regulatory compliance of defoamers in the construction industry are not only related to product quality and construction efficiency, but also involve major issues such as the health and safety of operators and environmental protection. This article first introduces the main components and potential safety risks of defoamers in the construction industry, including toxicity, flammability, corrosiveness, and other aspects. Subsequently, the regulatory requirements for defoamers in the construction industry both domestically and internationally were elaborated, including product registration, labeling, usage restrictions, and other aspects. The article also proposes specific measures to strengthen the safety management of defoamers, such as establishing a sound safety management system, strengthening personnel training, and conducting regular safety inspections. Finally, the responsibility of enterprises as the main body of safety production was emphasized, and it was called on both inside and outside the industry to pay attention to the safety and regulatory compliance of defoamers in the construction industry.
