SHORT DESCRIPTION:

9016 is a high molecular polyurethane copolymer hyperdispersant containing pigment-affinity groups.

FEATURES:

9016 not only has good wettability but also has excellent anti-sedimentation, anti-flocculation and anti-floating abilities. Compared with small molecular wetting and dispersing agents, it has excellent ability to prevent back coarsening. It can increase the storage stability of color paste, significantly improve the wetting and dispersing ability of base material on pigments and fillers, reduce the viscosity of the system, and improve the mobility. It can shorten the grinding and dispersing time. It has strong versatility and good compatibility with various resins.

APPLICATIONS:

9016 is suitable for medium and medium-high polarity systems, good compatibility with commonly used coating resins, good versatility in coating systems, applicable to almost all solvent-based systems, good dispersion effect on organic pigments and carbon black. It can also be used for the dispersion of inorganic pigments and titanium dioxide. It is suitable for automotive refinish paint, high-grade industrial paint, PU, NC, PE, epoxy sealant (potting glue), UV, baking varnish and coil coating etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

It should be added to the grinding material before dispersion or added to the system before high-speed dispersion to ensure its dissolution or dispersion in the system. According to different systems, the addition amount is different.

For titanium dioxide 3-5%; inorganic pigment 5%-10%; organic pigment 20-60%; ordinary carbon black 30-60%; high pigment carbon black: 80-150%; matting Powder 10-20%, the specific dosage is subject to the test.
