SHORT DESCRIPTION:

9161 belongs to high molecular polyurethane block copolymer hyperdispersant containing pigment affinity groups.

FEATURES:

This strong deflocculating dispersant has excellent viscosity reduction effect and is helpful to the leveling, gloss and fullness of the system. This product has high molecular weight, excellent wettability, good ability to prevent back coarsening, excellent anti-sinking ability, which can avoid  floating color of the multi-pigment system. It also can increase the gloss of the paint, color intensity, transparency and hiding power.

APPLICATIONS

9161 is suitable for various polar systems, especially in medium and high polar systems. It can significantly improve the wetting and dispersing ability of base materials for pigments and fillers, improve fluidity and shorten the grinding and dispersing time. This product has strong versatility and good compatibility with various resin systems. It can be used to prepare general-purpose color pastes. It has excellent dispersion effects on various organic pigments and carbon blacks. It is especially suitable for stabilizing ultra-fine carbon blacks. It can be used for wetting and dispersing of various solvent-based PU, NC, PE, UV baking varnishes, coil coatings, automotive refinishing paints, industrial coatings and pigment concentrates, etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS: 

For excellent performance, pre-mix the resin and solvent components first, slowly add the additives and mix well, then add the pigment.

Titanium dioxide 3-6%; inorganic pigment 5%-15%; organic pigment 20-70%; ordinary carbon black 30-60%; high-pigment carbon black 60-120%.

The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.

Store in a dry and ventilated place. Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
